How We Make Our Robot
This page showcases our process for creating the robot.
Stage 1: Design

The design process of our robot begins with Solidworks. We use template parts or design our own. The design process is arguably the longest part of creating the robot, so team support is crucial to our success. Additionally, code is designed through Java, ultimately accompanying the parts which culminates in the robot assembly process.
Stage 2: Shop
The shop is where we machine parts for the robot. Many mechanical members work with industrial-grade machines, such as our water jet, mill, and band saw.

Stage 3: Electrical

As mech is developing parts, electrical is beginning to assemble equipment for the robot. This includes the establishments and planning of circuits, battery packs, wiring, and parts that allow the robot to interpret the code obtained from programming.
Stage 4: Assembly
After the numerous parts are created, the robot is assembled. Each team has its part in formulating the robot. For instance, electrical assembles the wiring for the robot, whereas mechanical works on completely constructing the finished robot.

Stage 5: Programming
Programming begins before the robot constructed. They work on new subsystems for the robot unique to each years game, as well as updating old robot code to be re-used, and subsequently save time on development. Robot code is functionally 'complete' before ever being pushed to the robot, but will still need to be tested.

Stage 6: Test
Once the robot is completely assembled, it is tested to ensure its capabilities before its entry into the competition. Testing is essential as it brings the most satisfaction to the team, reflecting the result of our hard work and dedication.
Stage 7 : Competition

After the testing is concluded, our team enters the FRC to see how our robot will perform. There we network with other teams on ideas and concepts in the Robotics community. Throughout our experience, encouraging spirit within our team is vital to our success and the outcome of the competition.
